By definition from Weedmaps -" A cannabis clone is a prime example of asexual propagation — replicating a single parent plant outside the means of sexual reproduction.
Cannabis clones typically start by taking a cutting of a stable mother plant, then providing the necessary conditions for the cutting to grow into a genetically identical plant."

Transplanting Steps:
Prepare your soil and the next home (Pot) for your cannabis clone.
Pictured here is a 3 gallon pot with Coast Of Maine Soil.
Fill the pot 3/4 of the way with soil.
Then dig a hole the size of the original pot your clone is currently in.

Carefully pull your clone out of the original pot.
Hold your clone by the bottom of the stalk.
While holding onto the stalk of your clone, tip the pot
and gently pull the clone out of the original pot.

Once you have your clone out of the original pot - using both hands -
gently pull the bottom of the soil slightly out to loosen up the roots.

Place your clone into the soil you made a hole in, use the soil in the pot to cover the roots.
Give your plant about a cup of water at this time and let the soil absorb the water.

Once the soil has absorbed the water (which should only take a few minutes),
add soil to the top of the pot to tuck in your clone.
Once the pot is filled and your clone is secure in the soil, give your plant a good watering.
If leaves of your clone look sad and are sagging down this is normal.
It may take up to a few days for the roots to adjust from the transplanting shock.
Place finished plants outside in sunlight or under a led light.
You will see new growth of your plant in a week or two.
CONGRATS you are all set with your very own cannabis plant!

Ideal lighting at this stage (vegetative stage) of the
plant's growth is 18 hours of lighting if indoor growing.
If you are growing outdoors it is recommended to wait until
late May or early June to keep your cannabis plant outside all the time.
If it's sooner, be sure to pull your plant in at night. Happy Growing!!
